How to Apply Fake Lashes

◆How to Apply Fake Lashes◆

Applying fake lashes is best left to your makeup artist, but with a little patience and practice, you can master this art. Don't try it just leaving to a big party. Andrea lashes are great and they are available cheap at the drugstore.

Keep a piece of paper handy to hold the lashes, and a magnifying mirror, which makes the job of applying fake eyelashes a lot easier.

How to Apply Fake Lashes

Using a tweezers, dip the base end of the lashes into the glue, then place the lashes as close to the baseline of your own as you can, filling in wherever you want the greatest impact (generally, the mid to outer lashes look fabulous in false lashes). Press gently, but firmly with something blunt. Hold the lash in place for about 5 seconds until the glue has a chance to hold.

Let the glue dry, and then apply a dark eyeliner to camouflage the line of the fake eyelashes and then apply your mascara. The mascara will help blend your own lashes with the fake ones, and make your eyes look fuller and larger.

To remove, gently pull them off with tweezers.

The Perfect Eyelash

Lash is the final touch to your eye makeup. Always use an eyelash curler. It will make your eyes look wider, alert, and youthful. It's like an instant eye lift. Always curl lashes before applying mascara.

How to Apply Fake Lashes

* Lightly powder lashes to give mascara a coat to cling to.

* Heat eyelash curler with hair dryer for a few seconds. It will act like a curling iron for the eyes.

How to Apply Fake Lashes
Hint: Curl twice for a rounded curl. Place the open curl near the lash roots and arrange your lashes between the two rims. Squeeze gently for thirty seconds. Squeeze again at mid-lash for another thirty seconds. It looks very natural.

How to Apply Fake Lashes

* Give upper lashes a second coat of mascara, concentrating on the tips by stroking the brush horizontally across the lash. Never wait when applying second coat of mascara to lashes. Mascara, especially waterproof mascara, dries quickly and can clump.

* Lightly coat lower lashes.

Remove Your Makeup Naturally.....!!!

One of the first and most important lessons that women learn when they are young is to never go to bed with makeup on. Regardless of the amount, sleeping with your makeup on can do a lot of damage to your complexion by clogging up the pores and allowing dirt, oils and other surface debris to wreak havoc in the form of pimples, blemishes and other types of breakouts. Makeup remover is the one product that gets your face squeaky clean and takes care of any traces of residual makeup. However, there is an all natural approach you can take as well.

Natural makeup remover recipes are abundant, especially if you do your search on the Internet. Not only does the do-it-yourself approach give you the chance to use ingredients that are gentle on your skin, it also gives you the opportunity to save money since not all makeup remover products are that affordable.

When researching natural makeup remover recipes it is very important that you only choose the recipes that use ingredients that are good for your skin type. If you are not sure of your skin type, you’ll want to figure out that piece of information before trying any of the recipes you come across.

Eye makeup tends to be applied pretty heavily, which may look great while you’re out and about but can be a major pain to take off afterwards. If you’re looking for a simple, natural makeup remover to effectively eliminate the layers of concealer, primer, eye shadow, mascara and liner, there are a couple of recipes you can choose from. Olive oil is one of the most popular. Applying a few tablespoons of olive oil to a large cotton ball and using it on your eye area works great for breaking down all of the eye makeup - even mascara. Let the olive oil sit on the eye area for between two to three minutes and then wash with warm water and pat dry.

Need a natural makeup remover recipe that will work wonders at ridding your complexion of all your makeup? Then you’ll want to mix the following to make a paste: a few drops of lemon juice, one teaspoon of plain yogurt and two teaspoons of gram flour. After mixing these ingredients together, apply the paste to your complexion and wait for it to dry a little bit. However, you do not want the paste to dry completely. When you are ready to remove the paste, rinse with warm water and use your fingertips to rub the paste off in an upwards motion.

Want a recipe that is even simpler and doesn’t involve combining different ingredients? All you’ll have to do is take a large cotton ball and dip it into raw milk and apply to your complexion wherever there is makeup. Rinse with warm water afterwards and you’ll be good to go.

Makeup Tips.............!!!!!

Makeup can make you look and feel prettier, so how do you put the right color of foundation on your skin? Follow these steps to blend your makeup to match your skin tone in a no-fuss manner.

Step 1

Make sure you have the right foundation color for you. To do this, go to a makeup counter at a department store and ask one of the cosmeti
...c workers if they will help you find the right foundation for you. The best way to know is to put a little dab of foundation along the jaw of your face and try to blend it in with either a sponge or your fingers.

Step 2

Once you have gotten the right color, now you can try it at home. Before you put your foundation on your skin, remember to put primer on your skin so that the color will hold. The best way to blend the makeup to match your skin tone is to sit near a window where there is a lot of natural sunlight. The natural sunlight will help you see if your foundation is right for your skin and that you are either applying the right amount or too much or to little.

Step 3

Once you situate yourself near the window, have a mirror handy so you can use a foundation brush to lightly start near your cheek bones and your nose and work your way out. If you have a blemish, you can pay attention to this area once more, after you are done applying the makeup to the rest of your face. Remember to blend your makeup with your jaw line and neck area. If you neglect to do this, your makeup will look horrible.

Step 4

After you have put the makeup on your face, you can touch up rough areas lightly with a make up sponge or with your clean fingers. Then you can apply translucent powder to your face to create a nice glow.

Fusion Styles.

Dressing styles are very much about personal choices. A bit of creativity is always required to change the look. The easiest way for a makeover is investing in fusion styles within an existing wardrobe. Accessories enhance the look of an outfit and hence it is wise to purchase trendy items in hair clips and earrings. Chandelier earrings have been in fashion for some time and the recent styles in kurtis can be well utilized over denims with oxidized earrings.

Fusion styles are also present in salwar kameez and ethnic wears. This means modifying the drape of the dupatta or looking for a different way to use the hemlines. Go in for a handkerchief hemline in kurti which is well worn over slacks. Black ethnic wear can be fused with lot of mirror work to make the dress look exclusive. For trendsetting, use a lot of bangles or hair accessories that are ethnic and let the main dress be western.

Long skirts or the gypsy A line skirt is a great way for feminine grace. There are more styles in A line short skirts that can be worn with tank tops or simple formal ones. The bracelets can go from acrylic to plastic ones with the rainbow hinted ones that add a lot of color to any outfit.

Blending garments or fabrics is also another fusion style. Ethnic kurtas can have the yoke in velvet or silk while the main garment can stay in linen or cotton. This is a great reprieve in summer where it is necessary to dress comfortably and yet maintain a dressy look that may be required for a celebration. Fabric painting can be employed on plain tops with message T shirts or other muslin dupattas. Go for abstract designs, tiger prints and use a lot of accessories to create a fusion style.

Clothes Define A Person-Myth or Reality....????

Clothes do define a person. Not a complete myth. Not a complete reality. The answer lies somewhere in between. For actors, their main job is to look good and presentable all the time; this makes the phrase ‘clothes define a person’ a reality of sorts. Today, with fashion shows embedded into the circuits of Mumbai and fashion channels providing exposure to the young and old, all the same and with the importance attached to Fashion Designers, clothes have become an intrinsic part of many a person’s life and lifestyle.

Actors get defined by how they look and what they wear. An actor like Kajol will be seated in the front row cheering on designer pal, Manish Malhotra at a fashion show because of the innate affiliation that every actor has with their favourite designer. Manish Malhotra is a striking example for being the candy-coloured designer of Bollywood, making colourful, happy, vibrant and stylish clothing for his leading ladies for movies and in personal life.

Aki Narula, being the head-stylist and designer for movie Kurbaan, is a big deal. The clothes for the movie were required to be demure, secretive, concealing and sleek. When one read Aki Narula’s name in the credits, one would know that much importance is given to the designer of a movie. This is essential because clothes too, define a movie sometimes. Imagine if you have to watch Kajol in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’s first half of the movie, in un-fitted Salwars or Kurtas, it would have been a disaster. Her look in the first half of the movie, as Anjalie , was tom-boyish and Manish Malhotra designed the look to the tee. And it’s important to know the body type of each of the actors because only then can one do justice to dressing a star up- male or female.

In real life, people ape bollywood. For these people, a lot is about getting a look of their favourite star and this entails copying similar clothes and this would mean that clothes in certain extents define them as well. There are many socialites and many more who love to dress up in their favourite brand of clothing. Like, there are people who will only buy from certain stores because they feel that those brands compliment their physical attributes and provide a sense of comfortable confidence. These people give much importance and many marks to fashion-clothing. In many case, people do not care or bat an eyelid to their dressing sense and will be comfortabke in whatever they wear and do not have preferences, for these percentage of people, clothing defining them would be a myth and far from reality.

In conclusion, for many people, clothes define them to a large extent and to a percentage of people; clothes do not define them to any extent. Only clothes, however much there is obsession towards it, cannot be the single definitive factor in anyone’s life. Therefore, the article started by a mention of how clothes defining people lies in between a myth and reality.

Bollywood Style Secrets.

Did you know that bollywood has many secrets, most of which are style related?

Did you know that actors (male and female) are so particular and sometimes obsessive about their appearances and style on and off screen?

Did you know that style competition exists in bollywood all the time?

Bolywood has stylish leading men and women. Even the wives of actors are so keen on keeping up with the cool-quotient and remaining stylish. Actors have to look after their skin and their diet all the time because of the profession they are in. This allows them to get fixated on gymming, eating right and healthy, using the best products for their skin types, and wearing clothes from their much-loved designers and so much more.
Being stylish is a lot about being comfortable. Style should be and fall easily with one’s personality. You see, in real life, Kareena kapoor is stylish and well dressed at all times. We see her carry off a Salwar-Patiala from a Pakistan based designer, as easily as she carries off a Manish Malhotra saree or a short mini skirt in K3G in her character- Poo

Preity Zinta can wear a cap with a white tee during IPL and a hat with a beautiful, fluffy top at the Derby (races) with the same, effortlessness and this is what pronounces style. And this is what makes women style icons. Amitabh Bachchan could have popularized the Reid and Taylor look by his suits worn, whilst yester-year actor Dev Anand epitomized the concept of a scarf with shirts.

Bollywood stars like their facials and skin care. They each invest in their range of skin care to make them look youthful and vibrant. Shoes are a fetish in Bollywood as well. You hardly see a star repeating a pair of shoes at events. They buy shoes from the best brands across the globe and they invest in black dresses as well. In every fashion journal, a little black dress is a must. Similarly, actors buy the right fitted, perfect for them, black dresses which they can repeat at times if they wish to, with different shoes and accessorize differently with gorgeous handbags belonging to different seasons of different brands. A black dress is a definite piece of clothing in an actor’s wardrobe!!!
